we know that
cos 60°=1/2
cos 30°=(√3)/2
so
cos 60°=x/14---------> x=14*cos 60°----> x=14*(1/2)-----X=7 units
and
cos 30°=y/14---------> y=14*cos 30°----> x=14*(√3)/2----> y=7√3 units

the answers are
x=7 units
y=7√3 units
