how are volcanoes constructive vs. destructive?

They are constructive forces because if it is destructive it would be like weathering or erosion. Volcanos is a construction of a new landform.

When volcanoes erupt they bring molten magma from inside the earth creating new land masses. for example most island are created from volcanoes
