2/3(x+13)=22
You're gonna wanna distribute 2/3 through the parenthesis.
2/3x + 26/3= 22
To simplify, you multiply both sides by 3
2x+26=66
Then you minus 26 from both sides
2x=40
Then you divide both sides by 2
x=40
