Your question has been heard loud and clear.

3[-x + (2 x + 1)] = X – 1

= 3[-x+2x+1]= x-1

= 3 [ x+1] = x-1

= 3x+ 3 = x-1

3x-x = -3-1

2x= -4

so , x = -4/2 = -2

Therefore , x = -2

Thank you
