[tex] {x}^{2} - x + 6 = 0 \\ [/tex]

[tex] \delta = {b}^{2} - 4 \times a \times c \\ \delta = ( - 1)^{2} - 4 \times 1 \times 6 \\ \delta = 1 - 24 \\ \delta = - 23[/tex]

so,

[tex]\delta \notin\mathbb{R} \: [/tex]
