what I got was 7
[tex]2x + \sqrt{5 } = 7[/tex]
then sub
[tex] \sqrt{5} [/tex]
from both sides
[tex]2x = 7 - \sqrt{5} [/tex]
then divide
[tex]x = \frac{7 - \sqrt{5} }{2} = 2.83196601[/tex]
thats what I got
